ParaNorman

Taft and I went to the movies again yesterday.  We had plans to go to a State Park on Saturday (Fort Matanzas) but with the outer bands of Tropical Storm Isaac, the weather was a little iffy.  The only kid friendly movie playing was ParaNorman.  I have to say that I had not even seen a preview for it and I pulled up the trailer online so Taft could see if he wanted to see it.
It was such a cute movie.  I love that the kid friendly movies make sure to put a few things in them that only the parents get.  It makes watching it much more fun.
This movie had ghosts, zombies, a witch, and pretty funny cartoon people.  It also had a great theme and moral.  It dealt with bullying children that are different and what horrible things can come from treating those that we don't understand in a bad way.  And of course, the ending was great.

    Now if only my son liked going to the movies, I guess we will have to wait for DVD
