31 Days | Getting Organized

I know that it may sound a little weird and you might be asking what does organization have to do with reconnecting.  But I promise that it does.  With having a bit of a plan it can get overwhelming.
One of the ways that I plan on keeping in touch with people in the coming year is to remember birthdays, holidays, and write nice little notes to mail out.  So I spent a little time today getting my calendar updated.
I started with my google calendar (since it is always with me thanks to the iPhone).  I plugged in birthdays and set up reminders to go off a week prior to give me time to get a card in the mail.
I also worked on updated my contacts.  This included phone numbers and addresses.  It doesn't matter how many cards you have to send if those addresses aren't up to date.
It is also a great time to update addresses for Christmas cards.  It really is closer than you think.
